Vice President of Supply Chain Operations
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Supply Chain Operations to lead and optimize our end-to-end supply chain functions. This executive role is responsible for driving operational excellence, improving efficiency, and ensuring scalability across procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution. The ideal candidate is a seasoned leader with a proven track record of managing complex supply chain operations in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the overall supply chain strategy, aligning operations with business objectives and growth plans
Oversee procurement, demand planning, inventory management, warehousing, and logistics operations
Drive cost optimization initiatives while maintaining high service levels and product availability
Develop and implement scalable processes, systems, and KPIs to enhance operational efficiency
Manage relationships with key suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners
Identify risks in the supply chain and implement mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity
Lead digital transformation initiatives, including ERP and supply chain technology improvements
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing supply chain team across multiple regions
Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, sales, product, and executive leadership
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred)
10–15 years of progressive supply chain experience, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles
Proven experience managing large-scale, multi-site supply chain operations
Strong leadership and team-building capabilities, with experience managing senior-level managers
Deep understanding of supply chain best practices, including S&OP, demand forecasting, and logistics optimization
Experience with ERP systems and supply chain analytics tools
Demonstrated ability to drive operational improvements and cost savings
Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills
