This position functions under the general guidance and direction of Conference Services and will be responsible for assisting with executing the logistics and setups of events.

- Assist with the planning and coordination of events and assignments
- Work with departments as well as vendors to ensure a successful event by providing full service logistical planning for events of all size and scope.
- Responsible for event operations, logistics, production, and execution of events.
- Oversee emails to conferenceservices@mville.edu and field questions.
- Coordinate event timelines and schedules
- Oversee event activities including event setup and breakdown.
- Coordinate audiovisual set up.
- Troubleshoot operational issues on behalf of the department as it relates to events.
- Develop, maintain, and continually strive to strengthen relationships with administrators, faculty, and vendors as it pertains to internal events.
- Assist with Coordinating outside rentals for personal events on campus.
- Serve as Event Manager when necessary.
- Works with departments to make various and multiple room and setup changes to scheduled events.
- Answers phones and fields questions regarding events and events calendar.
- Performs administrative and office support activities. Duties may include but not limited to, billing, upkeep Project Tracking, project file maintenance, archiving and receiving and directing visitors and filing.
- Assists with maintaining the Events calendar
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Enrolled in a graduate program at Manhattanville
- Proven ability to plan, initiate, and manage challenging logistical situations.
- Must be able to work independently, taking initiative and be able to ascertain priorities in a dynamic environment of regular interruptions, multiple projects, and deadlines.

- Working knowledge of computers.
