Manhattan Vision Associates is seeking is a highly motivated individual who is responsible and outgoing to join our dynamic team as an Optometric Technician. We are an optometry practice in Midtown Manhattan specializing in dry eye care, Myopia Control and specialty contact lenses. This is a full-time position, with a weekly rotating schedule of 30-40 hours, Monday through Friday.
Core responsibilities:
· Assisting optometrists through various pre-testing evaluations during comprehensive eye care services.
· Maintaining accurate patient records through the documentation of pretesting results.
· Providing patient education through brief explanation of pretesting.
· Assisting with the maintenance of pretesting equipment.
Requirements
· Team player who is respectful and patient with colleagues and patients.
· Ability to multitask and work with a high volume of patients.
· Great listening skills and attention to detail.
· Able to follow instructions and established protocols.
· Must be dependable and flexible.
· Experience is preferred but not required.
Salary : $39,000 - $50,000
