Manhattan Vision Associates is seeking a highly motivated Optician to join our dedicated and skilled team. We are a dynamic and growing optometrist owned practice committed to delivering quality eye care to our diverse patient population. Our practice specializes in Myopia Control, Specialty Contact Lenses and Dry Eye treatment.

Probationary period of 90 days
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with optometrists and support staff to ensure seamless patient experiences
- Provide assistance and guidance for frame selection and lens options
- Discuss and advise on lens materials, coatings, and insurance benefits
- Ability to check in jobs, order and bill, accurately and efficiently
- Record accurate measurements (PD, seg height)
- Adjust/fit eyewear
- Process orders and maintain accurate documentation
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Maintain frame inventory management
- Deliver exceptional customer service in both sales and aftercare
Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and function effectively within a busy environment
- Preferred knowledge of vision insurance plans (VSP, Davis, EyeMed, Spectera)
- License a plus but not required
- Preferred three (3) or more years’ experience
Salary : $65,000 - $85,000
