Manhattan Sweets Boutique Bakery is looking for a motivated Bakery Assistant Trainee to join our team. This is a hands-on, multi-role position with the opportunity to learn many aspects of a boutique bakery environment.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with food, takes pride in presentation, and wants to grow within a creative and fast-paced bakery.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with morning storefront setup
- Helping customers with orders and product questions
- Finishing bakery items such as fruit tarts, donuts, cupcakes, and pastries
- Assisting the Head Cake Decorator with preparation and tasks
- Packaging customer and pre-orders
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization
- Supporting the team with various daily bakery operations
What we’re looking for:
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work efficiently and stay organized
- Interest in baking, pastry, or hospitality
- Ability to work well with a team
- Attention to detail and pride in presentation
Schedule:
- 12–25 hours per week depending on availability
- Morning shifts required
- Weekend availability required
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
