Job Description:
The Property Administrator is primarily responsible for providing administrative and operational support for building tenants and vendors; and handles building and tenant issues as needed during the property manager’s absence.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Tenant Relations: Provide timely response to tenant needs and coordinate with management staff to resolve matters.
· Vendor Relations: Manage, coordinate and oversee all vendor-related maintenance work.
· Financial Administration: Assist Property Manager with budgeting and accounting processes.
· Operations: Support Property Manager in all aspects of managing compliance of the property.
· Decision-Making: Make thoughtful, prompt, efficient decisions under time constraints.
· Other: Conduct and maintain relationships with clients, tenants, industry and trade associations, representatives of government, public service organizations, customers and vendors.
· Qualifications/Skills: 5 years’ experience in property management. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written; proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; knowledge of Yardi and/or property management software a plus; knowledge of accounting; detail oriented and organized; ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task, with time management and prioritizing a must.
