Job Brief

special needs. Your responsibilities will include reinforcing

learning for students, providing positive behavior support, and

implementing lesson plans to help students with disabilities. Our

• Location:** Various school locations throughout Manhattan and Ogden.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements are 48 college hours or successfully passing
  
  

the Master Teacher Para Assessment Test.

• CPR and First Aid certificates are highly recommended.
• All USD 383 employees must pass a background check.
  
  

Salary

• \$11.15/hour.
• This position is not eligible for benefits.
  
  

Hours Per Day

• Times may vary depending on the building assignment.
• Flexible hours depending on availability.
• Average workday = 7.5 hours.
• Reports To:**Teacher/Case Manager/Principal.
  
  

Job Duties

• Full range of educational/non-educational duties in the following
  
  

areas: classroom, clerical, lunch/recess, and personal needs.

• Appropriately deal with confidentiality issues and attend
  
  

appropriate in-service training.

• Abides by the general policy rules and regulations of USD 383.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the teacher or building
  
  

administration.

• FLSA Status:**Non-Exempt.
