Position Overview:
We are looking for a remote PMHNP-BC to provide medication management and psychotherapy services to our adult clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of anxiety, depression, and trauma, and be comfortable working with clients who are also receiving therapy through our practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments for adult clients
- Provide medication management, with a primary focus on pharmacological interventions
- Collaborate closely with our team of therapists in treatment planning and ongoing care
- Participate in regular team meetings to ensure coordinated care
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records
- Stay current with best practices and emerging treatments in psychiatry
Qualifications:
- Active PMHNP-BC certification and NY State NP license
- DEA license and prescriptive authority in NY
- Comfort with telepsychiatry platforms
- Experience in telemedicine and remote patient care (preferred)
- Strong understanding of anxiety, depression, and trauma treatment
- Experience in both medication management and psychotherapy
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
