Title: Level One Office Professional - Registrar

Qualifications: 

  • High School diploma or equivalent. 
  • Strong conceptual, organizational, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to maintain complex clerical records, both paper and electronic, and prepare reports from such records 
  • All USD 383 must pass a background check.

Salary:  

  • $12.00 - $14.50/hr. 
  • Level One Office Professional. 
  • Placement within this range is based on relevant qualifications, including prior experience, education, and applicable certifications (e.g., bachelor's degree, advanced certification, bilingual proficiency, etc.). 

Terms of Employment: 

  • This is a 12-month position. 
  • High school – 8:00am - 3:10pm 
  • New employees go through a 45-day introductory period as part of onboarding after which benefits will begin, and leave can be used.

Reports To: Building Administration. 

 

Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on the evaluation of classified personnel. 

 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Performs secretarial duties for the Principal and Counselor Staff. 
  • Maintains student management systems 
  • Works with the counselor to maintain student records. 
  • Processes correspondence in accordance with established procedures. 
  • Reproduces reports and other information as requested for wide distribution. 
  • Maintains a schedule of appointments and plans for travel, student events and conferences. 
  • Maintains records and prepares documents for committees. 
  • Coordinates collection of data, organizes data, and prepares and assembles state and federal compliance reports. 
  • Prepares, tracks, and maintains all audit documentation 
  • Works with auditors to resolve conflicts in data records. 
  • Maintains files for the program and makes such files available to authorized personnel. 
  • Assists in meeting preparation, meeting set up and clean up as appropriate. 
  • Performs a variety of office administrative tasks in relieving an administrator of important details. 
  • Other duties as assigned by administration.

ABOUT MANHATTAN HIGH SCHOOL: Manhattan High School is a 9th through 12th grade high school. The estimated enrollment for the 2025-2026 school year is 2,050 students. School begins at 7:40 a.m. and releases at 2:50 p.m. Teachers teach 5 of 7class periods with an additional Advisory period one day a week. The 2 open periods in a teacher's schedule are dedicated to an hour of planning and an hour dedicated to professional learning time. MHS utilizes a modified block schedule that consists of periods 1-7 being taught Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. Wednesday and Thursday are block schedule days. Wednesday consists of 1st period, Advisory, 2nd period, and 3rd period. Thursday's schedule consists of 4th through 7th periods. Every teacher is provided with a MacBook Air and an iPad. All classrooms are equipped with a short-throw projector and an Apple TV. Every student is provided with an iPad. USD 383 uses Infinite Campus for our student information system, CANVAS for our LMS (learning management system) and Xello for our individual plan of study system. We teach a wide variety of electives, Career and Technical Education, concurrent, dual credit, and Advanced Placement classes. We have many official and unofficial career pathways and athletic and activity opportunities with incredible student involvement. We have high expectations for all students and staff. We are always working on ways to meet the needs of our students, develop positive relationships, and improve how we teach the things that we are passionate about.
