As an AI Operations Engineer, your responsibilities will span three primary areas:

  • Build reporting to monitor tool usage, performance, and impact.

Process & Maintenance

Adoption & Enablement

  • Champion internal AI adoption by keeping teams informed, trained, and excited about new capabilities.
  • Build resources (guides, docs, office hours, internal updates) to make AI tooling easy to use and accessible.
  • Work cross-functionally with all departments to identify use cases, determine requirements, and iterate.
  • Measure usage and impact of AI initiatives, communicating results to stakeholders at Workshop.

To be successful at this position, you’ll need to:

  • Have 2-4 years of experience in operations, automation, internal tooling, or a related technical role.
  • Be comfortable building or integrating with APIs, automation tools, or building custom software.
  • Be highly organized, process-oriented, and capable of managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Have experience working with large language models and building custom AI agents.
  • Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and system reliability.
  • Communicate clearly and confidently across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and be eager to experiment with emerging tools.

Bonus Points If You

  • Have supported or built processes for knowledge management or internal documentation.
  • Have experience working and partnering with senior management and leadership.
  • High level of business acumen and understanding of SaaS business models.
  • Are passionate about making AI useful and accessible to everyone, not just technical teams.
