What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant position at Manhattan Day School?
Manhattan Day School (“MDS”) seeks qualified candidates for the position of Administrative Assistant.
Successful candidates will have strong organizational and time management skills; excellent oral and written communication; experience working in a supportive role, preferably in education; a Bachelor’s Degree; good judgment, patience, and flexibility; and a commitment to the confidentiality of student, parent and faculty information.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Preparing communications to be shared with community via email or via the MDS portal system (ParentLocker);
- Communicating with faculty, staff, and parents;
- Supporting educational administrators and principals
- Assisting in projects as needed
- Assisting with Arrivals and Dismissals
This position requires a solid knowledge of G Suite. Knowledge of ParentLocker, Canva, Adobe, Zoom and NPSIS are a plus. Ability to read and write Hebrew are also a plus.
