What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server position at MANHATTAN BEACH POST?
Chef David LeFevre's Manhattan Beach Post is an eclectic, chef-driven restaurant focusing on soulful food, engaging service, hand crafted cocktails and boutique wine selections. After opening in Manhattan Beach in April 2011, we are looking to recruit magnetic, passionate, experienced and motivated Servers to join our family.
A qualified Server Candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years serving experience in a high volume/upscale restaurant rich in food culture and artisanal product a foodie at heart. Thoughtful and engaging service that builds relationships with our Guests will be the stamp of any qualified candidate. Excellent knowledge of wine is required to navigate friendly, but deep selection. Candidates for all positions will possess humility, respect and integrity.
A flexible schedule is preferred- dinner hours during the week and Saturday/Sunday brunch availability is required. Most of all we are looking for individuals passionate about hospitality and relationship building. If you're a server who gets excited about showing our Guests what's new on the menu, then you're exactly what we're looking for.
