We’re excited to announce an opportunity to join our Fifth Avenue Flagship in New York City, one of MANGO’s highest-volume locations. We’re looking for a Tailor to join the team and help deliver an exceptional client experience through expert alterations and attention to detail at our prestigious Fifth Avenue store.

As a tailor in our Fifth Avenue Flagship store, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless alterations and repairs of garments in line with department policies. You will keep your workspace well-stocked and organized, use the calendar to efficiently schedule and meet alteration deadlines, and adhere to both verbal and written company protocols. Your role involves responding to customer inquiries with accurate information about department policies and communicating clearly with both customers and team members regarding pinning and fittings. Your expertise will contribute to a smooth and professional operation within the store.

Key Responsibilities:

• Alter and repair garments and clothing to accordance to department policies
• Keep work space stocked and organized
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written company policy/protocols
• Use calendar to schedule and meet alteration expectations'
• Respond to customer questions and provide information to customers on department policies
• Communicate clearly and effectively with associated and customers on pinning and fittings

We are seeking an experienced tailor with a strong background in garment alterations within the fashion retail industry. You should be self-motivated and adept at delivering high-quality alterations and repairs while maintaining an organized and efficient workspace. With a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence, you will handle customer inquiries with professionalism and ensure all alterations meet department standards. A proactive problem solver, you should thrive under pressure, adapt to changes seamlessly, and contribute positively to the store's overall success. Your ability to effectively communicate with both customers and team members will be essential in ensuring a smooth and satisfactory fitting experience.
