What are the responsibilities and job description for the Embroidery Operator position at Mango Merch?
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Embroidery Operator to join our growing team! In this role, you will play a key part in creating high-quality embroidered garments and accessories.
Responsibilities:
- Operate embroidery machines: Set up and operate single-head and multi-head embroidery machines to create intricate and high-quality designs on various fabrics (e.g., t-shirts, hats, jackets).
- Prepare garments: Hoop garments, select appropriate threads and needles, and ensure proper placement of designs.
- Monitor the embroidery process: Ensure that designs are stitched accurately and efficiently, and identify and correct any errors.
- Maintain equipment: Perform basic machine maintenance, including cleaning and minor troubleshooting.
- Quality control: Inspect finished garments for accuracy, quality, and adherence to customer specifications.
- Other duties as assigned: Assist with other tasks as needed, such as inventory management, order fulfillment, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Prior experience operating embroidery machines is a required.
- Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Ability to learn new skills quickly
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
