Duties
- Assist in preparing ingredients and cooking dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, including washing dishes, bussing tables, and sanitizing surfaces
- Support food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene compliance
- Operate POS systems such as Toast POS for order processing and transactions
- Help with food plating, presentation, and portion control to ensure quality standards are met
- Support banquet and catering setups, including serving guests and managing buffet stations
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service and guest experiences by addressing needs promptly and professionally
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred but not required; training provided for motivated learners
- Familiarity with food handling safety protocols and sanitation standards
- Experience working with POS systems such as Toast or Micros is a plus
- Knowledge of kitchen operations, cooking techniques, and food preparation methods beneficial
- Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and serve guests efficiently
- Experience in hospitality settings like hotels or banquet services enhances your candidacy
