Job Details

Position Title: Mainframe DB2 Database Admin

Job Location: Irving, TX(Hybrid)

Joining Mode: long term contract

 

Job Description:

1. Experienced in the set-up and maintenance of one or more of the following database systems in a Mainframe z/OS operating systems environment: DB2.
2. Database experience consists of creating table space areas, tables and views, logical and physical database design.
3. Knowledge about monitoring and performance improvements.
4. Knowledge of database maintenance procedures including Load, Reorg, Imagecopy, Runstats, Recovery.
5. Proficient in the internals of a large-scale operating system.
6. Knowledge of interface with Cobol and Java programming languages.
