Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Overview

Duties

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and health histories to inform care plans.
• Administer medications following prescribed protocols.
• Provide specialized care for patients with complex needs including trach care, management of ostomies, ADLs and efforts to optimize health conditions.
• Manage airway issues using appropriate techniques such as airway management and ventilator support.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care plans for diverse patient populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, and individuals with disabilities.

Skills

• Proven experience working in various healthcare environments
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology and documentation standards.
• Skilled in performing procedures like oral, tracheal and nasal suctioning, tube feeding management, medication administration via various routesand first aid.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients families to ensure understanding of treatment plans.

Pay: $23.00 - $24.75 per hour
