Assist chiropractors with patient intake, including collecting medical histories and explaining procedures to ensure patient comfort. Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature to aid in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing equipment, setting up necessary tools, and ensuring all supplies are stocked for daily operations. Support patients throughout their visit by providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and guiding them through the clinic process. Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR systems), documenting patient interactions, treatment details, and ICD coding for billing purposes. Help manage appointment scheduling, patient follow-ups, and administrative documentation to streamline clinic workflow. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification in medical assisting or related field preferred. Prior experience in a healthcare setting such as outpatient clinics, hospital medicine, or urgent care is highly desirable. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and ICD coding enhances your ability to support clinical staff effectively. Familiarity with EHR systems and medical administrative support ensures efficient record-keeping and patient management. Basic life support (BLS) certification is preferred to handle emergency situations confidently. Experience working in hospital environments or Level I/II trauma centers is a plus; clinic experience in outpatient or inpatient settings is valuable.
