We are looking for an experienced & motivated Salon Assistant who has a great attitude and loves to help others. As a key team member, you will assist with daily salon functions, ensure a clean and organized workspace, and contribute to an exceptional client experience. Your proactive attitude and passion for beauty will help elevate our salon’s atmosphere and service quality. We are looking for someone with customer service skills, an interest in the beauty industry, and a willingness to learn. Coming from a salon background or attending/graduated from cosmetology school is preferred but not required. You will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while assisting with various cosmetology services. You will play a key role in maintaining the store's appearance, managing stock, and ensuring a positive salon experience for all guests.

Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provide knowledgeable support regarding services & products available in the salon.
- Manage stock levels by restocking shelves, and ensuring product availability.
- Utilize basic math skills to assist with transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the salon to enhance our guest's experience.
- Assist stylists in performing services, including shampooing/washing guests' hair, blow-drying, removing extensions, and other tasks within their skill set.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Experience
- Previous experience in customer service
- Familiarity and experience with cosmetology services is preferred.
- Current and up to date cosmetology license is preferred.
- Basic math skills are essential for handling transactions.
- Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with customers and team members.
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Afternoon shift
Pay: $10.00 - $20.00 per hour
