Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Manage the reservation system and maintain an organized waiting list.
- Provide menus and inform guests about specials or promotions.
- Assist with guest inquiries and ensure their needs are met throughout their visit.
- Collaborate with servers to ensure timely service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
- Handle phone calls with professionalism, taking reservations and answering questions.
- Foster positive guest relations to encourage repeat visits.
Skills
- Previous Host/Host experience preferred, with a background in food service or restaurant settings.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
Schedule:
- We are looking for a host for Monday through Friday
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
