This is a part-time or full-time position. The special education teacher in public schools designs and delivers individualized instruction and support to help students with diverse learning, physical, or emotional disabilities access the general curriculum and reach their educational goals. The special education teacher collaborates with general education and support staff to provide direct and indirect support and ensure instruction meets the individual learning needs of each student.
