General Overview:
Mancor-SC is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Associate to join our logistics team. While fork truck experience is needed, this is not a material handler position. This role is critical to the accurate and timely processing of materials, supplies, and finished products. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with shipping and receiving operations and the ability to work effectively with other departments such as Paint Line and Quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Locate and pack materials for shipping in accordance with company procedures.
- Operate a forklift to load and unload products safely and efficiently and observe all PPE requirement.
- Collaborate closely with the Paint Line and Quality teams to ensure seamless production and shipping workflow.
- Receive credit-return materials and supplies from production by verifying supply codes, lot numbers, and quantities.
- Prepare finished goods for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, palletizing, loading, and securing products.
- Record all outgoing shipments and maintain accurate documentation of shipped units.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to transport materials, or assist machine operators as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized inventory and loading area, adhering to safety protocols.
- Open containers, sort contents, and catalog materials as part of receiving procedures.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to read and analyze shipping and inventory documentation.
- Basic computer knowledge with strong attention to detail.
- Skilled at managing multiple complex tasks simultaneously.
- Capable of prioritizing duties and consistently meeting deadlines.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to lift 50lbs
Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Previous shipping/receiving experience is preferred.
- Must have prior experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks.
