What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2026-5866 position at MANCON, LLC?
The Shipping and Receiving Clerk performs shipping, receiving, and report functions, assists with inventory control, addresses customer needs, and may occasionally pick up and deliver parts.
This is an hourly position.

Work is mostly performed in storerooms and warehouses which may have uncontrolled temperatures and dirt/dust/damp conditions. Work is also performed in vehicles traveling to sites.

- Provide quality customer service

- Meet and greet customers
- Review supplied requisition forms to ensure they are properly completed (signatures, timestamps, part numbers, descriptions and quantities)
- Answer questions regarding availability of parts
- Receive vendor orders and process vendor returns in the inventory system
- Provide company documentation to vendors as required (tax exempt form, credit references)
- Review and update stock locations in the inventory system
- Assist with entry of transfer documents in the inventory system
- Process receipt, shipment, storage, pick/pack and other paperwork and reports as required
- Assist in performing weekly inventory cycle counts
- Assist in performing counts during Wall to Wall inventories at site
- Review, familiarize with, and adhere to MANCON’s Policy, Procedures and Safety Manual
- On occasion, drive vehicle to designated locations to purchase/pick up/deliver parts
- Review all invoices at vendor location to ensure accuracy on pricing and quantities
- Provide 24 hour support at the MaineDOT location during emergencies
- Assist with inventory research projects as requested
- Assist with other duties as assigned
- Participate in the SCM continuing training program
- 1 year computer experience
- 1 year inventory experience
- 24-hour availability
- Valid driver’s License with two years driving experience
- Obtain and maintain a forklift license (MANCON will provide training after hire)
- Auto and/or heavy duty truck parts experience
