JOB SUMMARY:
The customer service representative is responsible for providing effective customer service for all internal and external customers. Customer service is responsible for enhancing the customer experience by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and generally providing a higher level of customer support.
Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Act as liaison between customer and salesperson
- Provide product and services information to customers.
- Resolve customer issues with accuracy and efficiency.
- Process orders, prepare correspondence, and respond to customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Sorting, confirming & crediting of invoices.
- General Office Duties (i.e. filing)
- Preforms other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication skills including active listening.
- Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances.
- Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
- Knowledge of, or ability to learn, product, service, or area of customer service specialization.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- The CSR is sometimes responsible for performing duties beyond the normal workday.
- The CSR must also sometimes investigate and resolve problems that arise with orders and deliveries.
- Responsible for running the end of day / week / month processes before cut off times.
- Will work on a rotating schedule for required selling holidays
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
A High School diploma or equivalent
Customer Service experience required.
MENTAL AND VISUAL REQUIREMENTS:
Close mental and visual attention required to perform work dealing primarily with preparing and analyzing data and figures, performing accounting work, using a computer terminal, AND/OR extensive reading.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to position self to access objects such as filing cabinets, ability to remain stationary for extended periods of time, and ability to operate office machinery such as a computer or telephone, ability to communicate effectively and ability to do repetitive motions. Ability to exert up to 15 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to move objects. The job is mostly sedentary.
MACHINES AND EQUIPMENT USED:
Ability to use: computer, printer, fax machine, photocopier and telephone.
Ability to use SmartTerm and Encompass software
