Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role in Manchester, NH, for a Social Studies Teacher. The Social Studies Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, developing comprehensive curriculum plans, and fostering a positive learning environment for middle school students. The role includes teaching world history, facilitating class discussions, assessing student progress, and contributing to a collaborative team of educators to uphold academic standards.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in teaching World History and Social Studies content
- Experience in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development focusing on Social Studies subjects
- Knowledge of teaching and engaging students at the Middle School level
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Ability to inspire critical thinking, cultural awareness, and civic engagement among students
- Bachelor's degree in Education, History, Social Sciences, or a related field (required)
- Teaching certification in Social Studies for middle school students (preferred)
