What are the responsibilities and job description for the Middle School Boys B Basketball Coach position at Manchester School District?
- Assumes responsibility for the entire program which includes:
- Coaching and supervising the program.
- Implements district athletic department policies.
- Works with the MSD Athletic Director and Principal
- Communicating school game schedule.
- Communication of travel for out-of-town trips.
- Verification of student physical examination/Family ID requirements of the high school.
- Remains with students and supervises them while traveling to away competitions.
- Cares for athletes and injured athletes.
- Cares for, maintains and oversees the storage of all equipment and uniforms.
- Maintains a positive staff relationship with other coaches.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the MSD Athletic Director and Principal
- Communicate with parents to inform them about the program as well as your expectations of them and the players.
- Leads by example
- Apply and enforce student discipline during athletic contests, practice sessions, and while on trips off school property in accordance with Student Code of Conduct and student handbook.
