Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a High School Spanish Teacher at Manchester Regional High School, located in Haledon, NJ. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, delivering engaging Spanish language instruction, developing curriculum materials, and fostering a positive, inclusive, and productive classroom environment. The teacher will assess student learning, provide constructive feedback, and encourage critical thinking and collaboration. Collaborating with colleagues and participating in professional development opportunities is also expected.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Spanish Teaching and experience in delivering engaging and effective instruction in the Spanish language
- Skills in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development to create meaningful and structured learning experiences
- Strong abilities in Teaching and Education principles to support diverse learners in achieving academic success
- Effective communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills
- Appropriate NJ certifications and/or licensure to teach Spanish at the high school level
- Familiarity with integrating technology into teaching
