Now Hiring: Part-Time Group Leaders:
Group Leader Position:
We are currently seeking energetic, dependable, and caring individuals to join our Before and After School Programs as Group Leaders.
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Morning Shift: 7:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
- Afternoon Shift: 3:15 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Wednesdays
- Afternoon Shift: 1:45 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Senior Group Leader Position:
MELC Senior Group Leaders oversee the daily operations of our before care program and serve as second-in-command for our after school program. Senior Group Leaders support program operations through curriculum development, staff supervision, and ensuring a high-quality experience for children and families.
Schedule:
- Morning Shift: 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM
- Afternoon Shift: 3:15 PM – 6:00 PM (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday) and 1:45 PM – 6:00 PM (Wednesdays)
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
Additional Requirement:
Senior Group Leaders are required to commit to attending one monthly meeting/training.
These part-time positions are ideal for college students, retirees, education majors, individuals seeking supplemental income, or anyone who enjoys working with school-age children.

- Lead fun, age-appropriate activities, games, and enrichment opportunities.
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and fellow staff members.
- Encourage teamwork, creativity, independence, and social-emotional growth.
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care.
What We're Looking For
- Passion for working with children.
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills.
- Dependable, responsible, and team-oriented.
- Previous experience working with children is preferred but not required.
