Description
Manchac Technologies designs and builds innovative pharmacy automation equipment for long-term care pharmacies across the U.S. We're a growing, process-driven company that values efficiency, integrity, and teamwork - and we're looking for a Manufacturing Supervisor to join the Production team.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7 am - 4 pm (on-site in Alexandria , Louisiana)
Annual salary $100,000-$140,000 (based on experience)
Relocation package available and negotiable based on qualifications.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate team members. Ensure all team members adhere to company policies. Act as the first point of contact for resolving employee related issues, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolutions. Provide ongoing coaching and professional development opportunities to support career growth within the organization.
- Project Management & Engineering: Ensure the seamless integration of engineering modifications into production processes. Manage engineering rollouts and other company initiatives to ensure production remains uninterrupted and efficient.
- Develop Work Instructions: Create, edit, and implement work instructions in compliance with company quality standards.
- Monitor Performance: Develop benchmarks for performance within the production group, monitor, and report.
- Drive Quality Improvement: Be responsible for the quality of all make and buy parts in production and ensure audit processes are adequate and are being followed. Train and coach manufacturing technicians on proper methods of assembly and building.
- Day-to-Day: Support manufacturing by researching, troubleshooting and answering questions that arise on the shop floor
- Identify Cost Savings: Propose and implement ideas to reduce production costs.
- Manage Systems: Maintain production floor data systems and ensure accurate parameters and updates.
- Enhance Production: Design and develop new tools and methods to improve manufacturing efficiency and quality.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify, create, & manage improvement initiatives.
- Work Independently: Operate with minimal supervision, handling complex issues with autonomy.
- Teamwork: Work day-to-day with production team leaders, technicians and other departments to meet company and production goals.
- Cost analysis: Participate in company budget and COGS discussions, be aware of ongoing and upcoming costs associated with production. Strive to optimize cost savings within production.

Requirements
- Four-Year College degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Experience in leadership position(s) with multiple direct reports
- 5-10 Years Working experience in manufacturing
- Comprehensive working knowledge of Manufacturing Processes
