Mancelona Public Schools is seeking a compassionate, organized High School Counselor to support students’ academic, career, and social-emotional success.
Responsibilities Include:
• Academic and personal/social support
• Identifying at-risk students and providing crisis intervention
• Referrals to community mental health resources
• Monitoring graduation progress
• College/career planning (applications, recommendations, FAFSA)
• Scheduling and new student enrollment
• Collaboration with community agencies and participation in IEP meetings
• Testing coordination, data collection, and reporting
Qualifications:
? MA in Counseling
? Strong interpersonal, organizational, and student-support skills
