In this role, you’ll design, build, and maintain advanced unmanned camera units and platforms, contributing to the full product lifecycle—from concept and prototyping to field testing and deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop unmanned camera systems, including enclosures, optics, power management, and connectivity.
- Develop firmware and low-level software to interface with sensors, storage, and wireless modules.
- Test and validate hardware/software performance to ensure system reliability and image quality.
- Create and maintain detailed engineering documentation (schematics, BOMs, test protocols, and reports).
- Support field trials and deployments with hands-on troubleshooting and tuning.
- Evaluate imaging components (sensors, lenses, processors) for varied environmental and range conditions.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards for remote/autonomous systems.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in embedded systems, imaging system design, or autonomous hardware.
- Strong understanding of camera modules, optics, and image signal processing.
- Proficiency in C/C and embedded microcontroller development.
- Experience with CAD tools (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, etc.) and electrical design software.
- Skilled in debugging using scopes, logic analyzers, and related tools.
- Comfortable bridging hardware and software design.
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Compensation: Pay commensurate with experience
