Summary
The Service Coordinator plays a key role in supporting daily operations and delivering a high level of customer service. This position serves as a central point of communication between customers, plant managers, and area teams, ensuring efficient order management and asset utilization across the area.

- Answer incoming customer calls in a timely and professional manner, providing accurate information and support.
- Enter and manage customer orders within the dispatch system, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Coordinate and adjust daily schedules, communicating changes effectively with plant managers, drivers, and customers.
- Assist in moving and reallocating assets throughout the day to maximize efficiency and meet customer needs. Collaborate with other areas to optimize asset utilization and support overall operational performance.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for both customers and plant managers, building strong working relationships.
- Proactively follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any service-related concerns.
- Identify and communicate efficiency gaps or operational challenges, working with leadership to implement improvements.
- Support the Service Manager in daily operations and special projects as needed.
- Act as a champion of dispatch systems and processes, promoting consistency, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication across all stakeholders to ensure smooth daily operations.
Skills and Abilities
- Experience in logistics, dispatch, or customer service preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a customer-first mindset.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1 year of related experience and/or training preferred.
- Bi-lingual Preferred (Spanish / English)
