Our Eastern Iowa Asphalt Division is hiring Asphalt Paving General Labors in Camanche, Iowa.
Responsibilities
- Follow project instructions from Foreman
- Unload and carry materials on construction sites
- Help keep construction sites clean from debris
- Operate paving Equipment / Labor when necessary
- Direct traffic safety around the construction site
- Signal operators to guide them in moving equipment
- Safely operate hand tools
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age
- 1 year of hands-on construction experience preferred
- Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Must possess knowledge of materials, equipment, and tools used throughout the construction trades
- Must be dependable, trustworthy, and possess a positive and productive attitude
- Must be able to work well with co-workers in a team environment
- Demonstrate strong awareness of safety practices
- Willingness to learn the operation of various pieces of equipment
- Reliable vehicle with good driving record
- Willingness to obtain a Class A CDL during employment
