This is a Monday to Friday daylight position, no nights or weekends. We have offices in Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch, and Sarasota.
Position Summary
Manatee Physician Alliance
Manatee Physician Alliance is where residents of Bradenton and the surrounding area turn for healthcare services. From primary care to specialty cardiac, orthopedic surgery and sports medicine, surgical oncology and general surgery, women’s oncology and weight-loss services, our physicians deliver quality healthcare services to all age groups.
Qualifications:
Qualifications
Minimum of one year of medical or related experience preferred.
Job requires being reliable, responsible, dependable, and fulfilling obligations.
Job requires being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks.
Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems, and other office procedures and terminology.
Knowledge of electronic equipment, computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Experience in data entry, customer service, collections and medical terminology preferred.
Education:
High school graduate or equivalent required
Completed a Medical Office Assistant/Specialist program or Medical Assistant program preferred.
