Part-Time Bookkeeping Assistant
This position supports the District’s Admin Department and is responsible for supporting the Assistant Director and others, as directed. THIS IS A PART-TIME POSITION working 24-hours a week on Monday, Wednesday and Thursdays 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Essential Functions:
-Answering the phone and taking complaints.
-Clerical support.
-Word processing, data entry, payroll, timecards, accounts payable/purchase orders, filing, maintaining asset records, and creates and maintains Excel spreadsheets.
Qualifications:
-Valid Class E FL Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
-Possession of a high school diploma.
-Minimum of two (2) years experience with: timekeeping, payroll, issuing purchase orders, accounts payable, bookkeeping/accounting functions, and records management. Proficient in Microsoft Office software; including Word and Excel. ADP experience a plus. Experience with answering phones, excellent typing, written and verbal communication skills, and proven customer service skills.

Salary for this position is $20-24 per hour based on qualifications.
