Position Summary:
The Creative Services and Content Specialist supports the development and execution of the Chamber’s marketing, communications, and promotional efforts. This role is responsible for producing high-quality visual and written content that reflects the Chamber’s mission, programs, and impact. The position will collaborate across departments to deliver engaging materials across print and digital platforms, including publications, eblasts, newsletters, and event promotions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan, develop, and design marketing and communications materials, including publications, eblasts, newsletters, membership materials, and event collateral.
- Maintain and support consistent brand standards across all Chamber communications.
- Contribute to the development, coordination, and production of Chamber publications and digital content.
- Provide creative and communications support for Chamber programs, events, and initiatives.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENT:
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat, Illustrator a plus.
- Proven creative output through design and or advertising work.
- Exceptional communication and proofreading skills.
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, multitask, build relationships, and pay attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to organize, coordinate, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Discretion with confidential information required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations, design, or related field.
- Three to five years of related experience in design, marketing, or communications.
JOB LOCATION AND HOURS:
This individual is based out of the Chamber’s Bradenton office. The position also requires travel to Chamber events at varied locations, primarily in Manatee and Sarasota Counties. This is an exempt position, and some duties and projects require work outside the typical 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM office hours.
