Description:
The Manalapan-Englishtown Regional School District, an award winning, Central Monmouth, K-8 school district with a tradition of excellence in education, is seeking a Replacement Substitute District Wide Mental Health Clinician with the following qualifications:
Qualifications:
- Must hold proper NJ certification:
- Standard New Jersey Certificate - 3200 School Social Worker or
- Standard New Jersey Certificate- 3100 School Psychologist
- Holds a valid New Jersey mental health license such as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD)
- Has experience in working with elementary and middle school students
- Demonstrates the knowledge and understanding of child and adolescent psychopathology and its impact on learning
- Demonstrates effective communication skills
Job Goals:
- To provide intensive school based individual and group counseling
- To gather and review data to determine building specific needs as it relates to pupils\' social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- To develop and monitor behavior support plans for students on their caseload
- To review Harassment, Intimidation, and Bullying (HIB) data and identify building specific patterns and needs to develop counseling groups
Terms of Employment:
- Replacement
- Starting Daily Rate: $315.50- $348.75
- Contract terms, salary, and benefits as established by the MEEA Collective Bargaining Agreement
