Schedule: Full-Time, Monday – Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm

Essential Duties:
- Perform varied administrative duties including performing data entry functions
- Support staff in the maintenance of accurate and complete case reports, records, and statistics necessary for the evaluation of the program. Maintain confidentiality of inmate records
- Assist in the maintenance of recovery literature libraries
- Assist in the preparation of monthly operational reports
- Promote the development of positive social skills through modeling appropriate behaviors and intervening when inappropriate behaviors are observed; provide regular feedback to staff regarding social skills procedures and intervention techniques
- Maintain accountability of inmates and property; adhere to safety practices
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent (GED) required.
- Clerical, administrative, or related experience to include computer operations preferred. Experience in the use of Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent to include word processing, spreadsheet, database, or presentation software programs preferred
- Valid driver’s license in the state of Texas with an acceptable driving record, unless waived by management.
Post Hire Requirements:
- Must complete Correctional Awareness Training (CAT) prior to inmate contact
- Must successfully complete annual in-service training requirements and pass an annual background check, both of which must be approved by Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ)
