Job responsibilities: This position is responsible for keeping assigned areas in a clean and orderly condition.
Essential functions:
- Maintain and preserve all flooring and/ or covering by scrubbing, stripping, waxing, buffing and sweeping
- Collect and dispose of all trash, litter and other debris
- Mix and use basic cleaning compounds, waxes and disinfectants
- Supervise assigned students while completing center work support tasks
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Experience with cleaning compounds, waxes, polishes, disinfectants, etc. and their proper application
- Previous experience in dishwashing or as a custodian preferred.
- Valid UT food handler's permit required by state law
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record, unless waived by management
