SUMMARY: Management Business Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Technician for its client in Arden, NC. The person will be responsible for performing ongoing maintenance and repair of equipment and systems to ensure smooth and safe plant operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both electrical and mechanical systems and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inspect, maintain, and repair manufacturing and facility equipment to prevent breakdowns and support daily operations.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems including motors, control panels, PLCs, and sensors.
- Perform routine mechanical repairs on machinery, such as hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC systems.
- Follow diagrams and technical manuals to identify issues and carry out repairs.
- Complete preventive maintenance tasks and keep accurate service records.
- Operate tools and machines to fabricate or modify equipment parts when necessary.
- Support equipment upgrades or installations and contribute ideas for process improvements.
- Ensure a safe work environment by following safety guidelines and reporting hazards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED required. Technical certification or associate degree preferred.
- 2 years of experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance.
- Hands-on experience with production machinery and facility systems, including troubleshooting and repair.
- Strong understanding of electrical circuits, motors, and control systems.
- Effective communication and time management skills.
- Exposure to lean manufacturing principles is a plus, but not required.
