Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated Rental Car Shift Supervisor for a full-time, on-site position at our Cary, NC location. The Shift Supervisor will manage daily operations within the rental car facility, supervise team members, ensure efficient workflows, and maintain compliance with company policies. Responsibilities include overseeing vehicle check-in and check-out processes, addressing customer inquiries, ensuring vehicles are properly prepared for rental, and assisting with staff scheduling and performance management. Maintaining operational standards and fostering a positive team environment will also be critical aspects of this role.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills
- Customer service and communication skills to address inquiries and provide a positive client experience
- Organizational and multitasking skills to manage operational workflows and employee schedules
- Experience in the car rental or transportation industry is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in management or business are advantageous
- Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and software
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- PM shift is a must
