Role Description The Business Development Manager is a full-time hybrid role based in Alpharetta, GA, with the flexibility to work from home part of the week. In this role, you will identify, qualify, and pursue new employer and partner opportunities that align with Managed Health’s preventive and data-driven care solutions. You will manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, needs assessment, solution positioning, proposal development, and contract negotiation. On a day-to-day basis, you will build and maintain a pipeline through outreach, networking, and follow-up, while collaborating with internal teams to create tailored presentations and value propositions. You will also track activity and performance metrics in CRM tools, provide feedback on market trends, and support account transition to client success teams for smooth implementation and long-term retention.
Qualifications
- Proven business development and B2B sales skills, including prospecting, lead qualification, and closing new business.
- Experience building and managing a sales pipeline using CRM tools and data-driven approaches to track and improve performance.
- Strong relationship-building and client management abilities, with experience presenting to decision-makers and stakeholder groups.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex healthcare or benefits concepts into clear value propositions.
- Background in healthcare, employee benefits, population health, or related industries is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment, managing time and priorities effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
