Job Description – WIOA Intake Case Manager Special Projects
Reporting to the Leadership Team, the WIOA Intake Case Manager, Special Projects is charged with the intake, assessment, eligibility screening and enrollment process for eligible program participants.
Essential Functions:
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Conduct intake, assessment and eligibility screening.
- Be responsible for a WIOA caseload.
- Meet or exceed contractual performance goals.
- Participant Case Management including development of IEPs, OJTs and PWEX
- Development of unsubsidized employment opportunities for enrolled participants
- Management of Supportive Service Requests
- Other duties as assigned by management
Essential Job Requirements:
- Ability to work as a team, including a close partnership with assigned Job Developer for Work Based Learning (WBL) opportunities.
- Strong professional communication with employer partners and WBL worksites.
- Knowledge and strong ability to use CalJOBS
- Excellent computer and Microsoft Office skills
- Regional knowledge of Santa Barbara County
- Bilingual capabilities, Spanish is preferred
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Graduate combined with at least 2 years experience preferably in a grant-funded agency, OR equivalent experience with a track record of success
- Ability to pass a background check
- Car, valid Driver's License and insurance
