Job Summary:
The Fee Schedule Specialist plays a vital role in the medical claims review process for Workers’ Compensation and No-Fault insurance cases. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately process medical billing claims for NYS Workers' Compensation and Auto Insurance.
- Communicate with insurance companies to resolve claim issues, denials, and appeals.
- Maintain compliance with state guidelines, fee schedules, and billing regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure proper coding and claim submission.
- Stay up to date on NYS Workers' Compensation and Auto billing policies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Bill Review within Workers’ Comp and Auto industries.
- Deep understanding of payer-side processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT coding, and NYS fee schedules.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Pay: $40,000 - $65,000
