Role Description The Assistant Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Lexington, Kentucky. This role supports day-to-day golf operations, membership administration, staff coordination, inventory management, and marketing efforts, with specific leadership responsibilities during the late Fall, Winter, and early Spring months when the Director of Operations is off property. Responsibilities include supervising staff during shifts, coordinating tee times and lessons, and ensuring a smooth guest experience from arrival to departure.

- Operations and leadership skills, including experience supervising and supporting staff, coordinating daily activities, and maintaining high service standards.
- Customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with members, guests, instructors, and colleagues in a busy environment.
- Organizational and problem-solving skills, including attention to detail, time management, and the ability to address operational issues quickly and effectively.
- Basic administrative and technology skills, such as using point-of-sale systems, creating simple reports, and handling cash or transactions accurately.
- Prior experience in operations, hospitality, and management is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work as required by the facility’s schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in business, sports management, or hospitality is a plus.
- Interest in golf and willingness to learn about the game and range operations to better support business mission.
