Role Overview
The Senior Portfolio Analyst role puts you at the intersection of quantitative research, portfolio construction, and live investment decision-making. You'll own critical parts of the investment process, from signal validation to portfolio risk management, with direct visibility into how your work affects real capital allocation in multi-billion dollar quant equity hedge fund strategies. Responsibilities- Take ownership of day-to-day portfolio management workflows, including validating the implementation of the investment strategies
- Analyze the output of our portfolio construction process to ensure the integrity of our investment philosophy and improve the outcomes
- Identify and champion new alpha and risk management ideas from concept through to implementation
- Design tools for evaluating and improving portfolio implementation and performance
- Drive signal enhancement initiatives in partnership with research teams, and develop independent research ideas with a clear path to production
- Own the analytical narrative for client communications and presentations
- Work across teams within Man Group to solve investment, technical, and operational challenges
- Exposure to live systematic investment processes managing significant AUM
- Direct interaction and mentorship from senior PMs and the research team

The anticipated based salary range for this position is listed below. Compensation packages would also include benefits and a discretionary bonus. This is the base salary range that the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting based on the location and requirements of the position as well as the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant. $90,000 - $115,000 USD
