Overview
Helping Hands is looking for an experienced driver and moving helper to join our team. This is a part-time position - our jobs are often small, but during our busy season we take on larger moving jobs that require extra hands and hours. Reliable, hardworking individuals who can drive and assist with moving furniture and belongings are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
Safely drive company vehicles to and from job sites.
Load, carry, and unload furniture, boxes, and other household or office items.
Wrap and protect items to prevent damage during transport.
Assist customers with packing and unpacking as needed.
Work efficiently as part of a small team to complete moves in a timely manner.
Qualifications
Prior experience as a mover and/or driver preferred.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to lift and carry heavy items.
Dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible part-time hours, including more hours during peak season.
Pay and Schedule
$20 per hour, with a 3-hour minimum pay guaranteed per job.
Part-time hours that vary based on job size and season.
Pay: $20.00 per hour
