Mammoth Hospital is committed to providing compassionate, comprehensive care to our community. As we expand our behavioral health services, we're looking for a dedicated part-time psychiatrist to support patients with a wide range of mental health needs.
Position Overview
We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible psychiatrist to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative environment. This is a flexible position ideal for a physician seeking a better work-life balance, reduced hours, or supplemental income.
This is a part time position and is in-person with the option to have some occasional follow up via telehealth. Our Behavioral Health Department utilizes a COCM model and is integrated in both the primary care clinic and pediatrics, utilizing an Integrated Behavioral Health approach. We are looking for someone with experience in utilizing these models, as you would be closely working with the Behavioral Health team, Family Medicine, and Pediatric clinics.

Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide ongoing medication management
- Collaborate with therapists, primary care providers, and case managers to coordinate care
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
- Participate in case reviews and team meetings as needed
- MD or DO with a valid license to practice psychiatry in California
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry
- Experience working with diverse populations, including adults and/or adolescents
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with telehealth a plus
