What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service/Wholesale Operations/Inside Sales position at Mamiye Brothers?
Purpose of the Role: To provide comprehensive support to the HABITUAL Women's Wholesale Department, Lead communication with all support teams across regional channels of distribution.
Reports to : VP Sales/Merchandising and Director of Sales
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Wholesale Inquiry Management:
- Field inquiries from Sales Management, Specialty Field Sales, Sales Team Representatives, Distributors and Retailers, providing timely and accurate information about products, pricing, shipment status, and availability.
Relationship Building:
- Cultivate strong relationships with sales teams and retailers through effective communication via phone and email.
- Be responsible for sell-in across open territories via NuOrder Phone
- Attend Coterie Vegas tradeshows "when needed"
- Help to support local sales initiatives
Issue Resolution:
- Support retailers and cross-functional partners by ensuring proactive and prompt resolution of issues, maintaining open communication, and timely follow-ups.
Order and Production Management:
- Review incoming production dates and credit standing reports; maintain thorough follow-up with the sales team on order status
- Process merchandise returns in coordination with the sales team and distribution center
Customer Service:
- Act as a primary contact to resolve customer/rep issues and respond to inquiries
- Serve as the internal NuOrder super user
Vendor Portal Management:
- Manage vendor portal tasks for key accounts (e.g. Nordstrom, Macy's, Dillard's), including new item setup templates, product attributes, and inventory updates.
Communication:
- Collaborate with NJ CS/ Customer Service Manager to communicate PO updates, shipping progress and delays
- Share any important internal dates or updates with field team.
Data Management:
- Ensure seasonal updates in ERP/NuOrder are accurate and complete to facilitate effective order placement by accounts
Reporting and Monitoring:
- Monitor and maintain orders for assigned Sales Representatives and customers, providing weekly open order reports with updates
- Provide up-to-date fulfillment concerns and work with sales Representatives on extensions or substitutions to maximize-on-time order fulfillment
Onboarding and System Management:
- Manage and control the receipt of new customer setup forms to ensure accuracy in ERP/NuOrder
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work with IT and product teams for timely updates to NuOrder, ERP and GXS catalogs
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in wholesale sales, customer service, or a related field, at least 5-7 years
- Proficiency in EDI systems, ERP Order management Systems, and a familiarity with NuOrder or similar B2B platforms
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
