Responsibilities:
- Effectively manages the care of assigned patients using knowledge, skills, judgment, and decision-making skills for the specific area and patient population.
- Delivers patient care utilizing standardized evidence-based guidelines of care and appropriate resources, including personnel, services, supplies and equipment.
- Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior, administer medications, and document all encounters and progress notes.
- Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
- Educates patients about health maintenance and disease prevention
- Educates care plans, provides emotional support, and advice to patients and their family members
- Good standing RN License for the state of Georgia without limitations
- BLS and ALS/ACLS Certified
- Familiarity with medical software and equipment
